The pedestrian crossing is too near Nash’s Cross and could cause a traffic accident. Has a traffic count been taken to determine the need for a pedestrian crossing at this location?Sign up for the weekly Limerick Post newsletter Sign Up “On whose authority was this installed?” the Pallaskenry man asked the council executive.Fianna Fáil councillor Kevin Sheahan considered the installation of the pedestrian crossing to be a complete “mystery”.“It must have fallen out of the sky as it was never discussed at this table. If we now have to look at spending money to move it — that’s unfortunate.“It is a pity a few more of them don’t fall out of the sky,” Cllr Sheahan added.
