This will be the ship’s only call for the cruise season 2011/2012. MV Silver Explorer is part of the Silver Seas Cruise Line, carries a maximum capacity of 158 passengers, and 117 crew members. It has a gross tonnage of 6,072, and is 354 feet in length. The ship’s port of registry is Portsmouth, United Kingdom, and is scheduled to call into Montserrat prior to Dominica. It will then sail to Bequia, St. Vincent. A brief welcome ceremony will be held on board the ship on Thursday October 13th 2011, at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth, at 10:00am. Dominica expects one (1) more new call for this cruise season, 193 calls in total, and 297,299 passengers. The 2011/2012 cruise season will run through April 2012.
