NEWHALL – Assemblyman Cameron Smyth will hold a town hall meeting this morning at the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center. The informal session starts at 10:30 a.m. and is billed as a chance for residents of Santa Clarita to get to know the assemblyman. The center is at 22900 Market St., Newhall. The newly elected Republican served on the City Council until November. “After my first few months in the Assembly, I thought it was appropriate to speak to the community regarding my early experience in the state Legislature,” Smyth said. “I am looking forward to the event and discussing state-related issues impacting Santa Clarita and seniors.” last_img
